Product Uses
Vinyl Guard keeps vinyl soft and supple, prevents stains and molding, and waterproofs by permanent cross-linking to material surface. Well suited to protection of materials exposed to outdoor elements such as boat fabrics, awnings, and patio furniture.
Application Instructions
Surface Preparation :
Surface should be free of dirt, wax, oils, or any other foreign material. We suggest using Simple Green or Castrol Purple Stuff to remove any wax from surface. Apply Vinyl Guard only to a cool dry surface and out of direct sunlight and windy conditions. Before using this product try on an inconspicuous area for colorfast. Do not use on leather.
Direction for use:
Apply a liberal amount of Vinyl Guard to clean, dry, un-dyed 100% cotton applicator pad. Apply an even, wet coating to any vinyl surface (car dash, boat seats, golf bags, luggage, etc.). Re-wet applicator cloth every time you start a new area. Overlap slightly as each new section is done. Continue in this fashion until entire surface is covered. After approximately five minutes, use a clean, dry, 100% cotton cloth and wipe of any excess material.
The applied Vinyl Guard film will become water and chemically insoluble in one hour.
Caution:
Flammable Material : Keep away from sparks and flames use in a well ventilated area.
Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal.
